Hello

Welcome to my personal design portfolio; this site is a collection of my most recent and representative work. Some of the projects I have listed here were completed under the name 'Sheepdog Print and Design, LLC' which is a collaborative effort with my photographer/artist sister, Ulla Kjarval.

I love all aspects of design, and have had the opportunity to receive training in several fields. In 2003 I received a BS in Architecture from the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning. I also completed The New School Web Design Certificate Program in 2006. When possible I try to take advantage of the numerous courses available here in NYC to keep up to date and broaden my skill set.

I strive for clear and effective designs that are also beautiful and memorable. Just like in my architecture training, I believe that the most successful designs are a result of the 'form follows function' mantra. I am detail oriented and truly enjoy the creative and editing process as much as the end result.
